Just another picture.
Where it now appears very overdone to me.
Almost vulgar….

Thanks to a reader for this one.

  1. I was shocked to hear that there are only 2 car companies in the world that can make their own 8 speed trasmission and Hyundai is one of them. Is this really true? or a joke?

  2. The side and rear look pretty good, but the front is VEEERRYY gawdy looking. It is way overdone. The Genesis is waaaayy better.

  3. A car for poseurs who want everyone to think they’re driving a Lexus or Mercedes. The wheels are almost exact replicas of those on a Bentley. Boooo Hyundai.

  4. This id the front of the V-8 model with the vertical grille. The V-6 model has the horizontal grille and is less gaudy.

  5. I have to admit its not that bad looking. Especially considering the competition i.e. 7 series, E class, etc. It just seems cars this size are too big to be subtle. There is just too much real estate there.

  6. If you tone down the grille and remove the hood ornament I think it’s gorgeous. Looks like the new Buick LaCrosse, and hopefully one day that won’t sound like an insult to you. I read they are considering bringing it to the U.S.

  7. It doesn’t look bad if you know nothing about cars with no understanding why this is so wrong. But this is a cobbled together mess of parts from Buick, Mercedes, Lexus and Bentley.

Did Hyundai simply dumpster dive into the parts bin of every other manufacturer?

This is a car for poseur who wears a fake Rolex, lives in a mini-mansion bought on an interest-only loan and has $20k of credit card debt.

  8. I think this would make a great azera replacement,or just a great addition to the hyundai brand in America.

  9. The better Hyundai is doing the more haters Hyundai gets. If they didn’t have haters that means no one is paying attention to them. So GOOD JOB HYUNDAI! I will take this, pocket the extra cash, and laugh at the posuers working 3 jobs trying to afford a BMW 3 series.
