Skoda Superb video

I can’t get past the name “Skoda Superb”. So obnoxious.
Imagine the Kia Amazing….

Here is an interesting video shot in Europe of the new big VW based Skoda.
To me it still looks like a heavy looking, chromed out VW. Not elegant or modern at all.
Maybe the Passat didn’t appeal enough to the over 70 crowd. And this fits the bill.

The trick trunk/hatch is interesting. The car is roomy and looks well made.
But let’s hope this will not (ever) end up as our “US only Passat replacement” model coming up….
