Is anyone getting used to the new Accord front end yet?

At least on these pictures, it looks a bit better.

  1. The top photo is the best angle for that front end. I still think it’s too blunt though. I’d probably be in the market for the sedan so I can’t wait to see that one.

  2. i agree Vince. i’m starting to like it more. i just hope they get rid of the 4 or so horizontal bars. i just want to see what the interior should look like now.

  3. I don’t like ANY coupes that are as long and hard to park as a more practical 4 door sedan.

But that car does look good and it’ll drive well, too because it’s a Honda.

Would be nice if the next Accord coupe looks like that and fine with me if the 4 door car has much of that style as well.

  4. The front end looks like the 90-93 Accord. I dunno why Honda is going retro since that was probably the ugliest version. Side is very BMW. I dunno why they couldn’t be more original, even Toyota has a nice design for the Camry.

  5. The front end is the least of Honda’s worries. The rest of the car is what’s bothering everyone else.

    Good job, Honda!

  6. yeah, it’s starting to grow on me. from certain angles the front looks really aggressive and nice.

  7. The front end looks better than the current model. I am trying to picture what the production car might look like. Hondas concepts and production models are very similar.

  8. The front looks perfect if the design is for last generation camry solara. It looks close to last gen camry to me.

  9. Vince, do you know if the new Accord Coupe will now be built down in Lincoln, Alabama or at the recently expanded factory up in Canada?

  10. is this part of the program where someone has to remind the commenter that this is a concept and not the real deal? i actually think it looks more like a Audi TT version 4.0.

  11. I love it, the Honda Mustang, what a joke. it will be an easy and great pleasure selling against this mustang

  12. I love it! Can’t wait to see the production version and the interior. This is definitely going right to the top of my list along with the new Altima coupe.

  13. Yeah, the look of the new Accord is growing on me – like a fungus. This car may have looked good back in the 90s, now it’s already dated before it’s produced.

Should look nice in one’s driveway, parked next to the new Pilot. Talk about suburban blight.

  15. i think the look is growing on me, but my problem with it isnt really the front, it just looks like the car was desighned by several desigheners, like they couldnt make their minds together, the front doesnt match the rest of the car, and neither does the rear, or sides, it reminds me of what a sebrign coupe might would look like but hey the production version may look better in person

  16. Le Québécois

The front have a bit of the Scion TC. I would prefer the chromed bar of the Civic instead of this front grill. To much detail on the front end versus the rest of the car. The design is clean and pure. Realy good job ! I can’t wait for the interior.

  17. I think the car looks great, but I hope the four horizontal openings on the bottom of the bumper are gone on the production version.

  18. I’m not sure. I want to see it in person. It reflects a blunt nose unlike the Camry that accentuates the “nose” by placement of the Toyota logo like a drop of sweat on a snout. (As you can tell I’m not a fan of Toyota styling) If the hood is too long for some to park the car, let us remember the bohemiths way back when. This would be easy. I love it and if it is a reflection on the four door, I’ll place my order.

  19. I like it a lot, but that could be because I’m comparing it to the current one which is stupid ugly.

  20. The front end needs something more to set it apart from the rest of the 2 door coupes out there! It looks too generic the way it is presented here. Perhaps the front end from the CR-V would set it apart from the rest.
