Renault Nepta Concept

Last Updated:

I always loved convertibles and this is a real treat.
A spectacular design from Renault. Which of course, will never be produced.
Except maybe, the front end might give us an idea of the next Laguna.

The concept is powered by a 3.5 Liter V6. Sounds familiar?
Yes, it is the excellent Nissan engine paired with 2 turbos for a total of 420hp!
That part sounds more like something we might actually see.

Maybe in a “Super Z”???

  1. Speaking of Super Z, how about this:
INFINIMO G35 coupe, a bite off NISMO with this 420hp engine, to fight the obvious M3? and why not put this engine in the sedan to give the RS4, CTS-V and upcoming C63 a run for their money? I assume the bi-turbo V6 will get better fuel economy than any of those V8!

  2. HELLO I’M FRENCH AND I WANT SAVOIR IF THEHOOLYWOODEXTRA IT’S A BLOG AMERICAN, FROM HOLLYWOOD, OR ENGLISH ??
AND WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE RENAULT NEPTA AT THE USA ?
    YOU LIKE THE FRENCH CAR?

  3. My bad. “The Nepta has motor-driven gull wing doors, but these are likely to be replaced on a production version by more conventional offerings. The doors are fitted with electronic obstacle detectors and an anti-pinch device for greater safety.”https://www.news24.com/wheels/Wheels24/News/0,,1369-1372_1995351,00.html

  4. Hello Mr “I’m French”.If you want to know more about me go to: And tell all your friends about it!There is nothing much more American than Hollywood. We’ll never get the Nepta over here because Renault doens’t sell any cars in the US.Otherwise it looks great. And you guys won’t be able to get one either because it’ll stay what it is today: a crazy concept for the autoshow.Sure I like French cars. There are only 2 kinds of cars, the ones I like and the ones I don’t like. And I don’t care who makes them.
