Hollywood



Well...

Burbank to be exact.
A few people are cool enough to be driving cars like these every day.

There is hope.

I used to drive one of these old ford torinos when gas was .75 cents a gallon, so it didnt hurt too bad , but you could actually watch the gas needle go down as you drive... (yikes) and it took 4 bucks to go round trip to high school or I would take my opel manta (lexus) version and pay about $1.50 to do the round trip to and from school

I remember those Mantas, Sdcarnut. Beautiful vehicles. I think Chuck Jordan was behind the styling, so it worked on both sides of the Atlantic. Always sad what happened to the Opel marque there when they started selling rebadged Isuzu Geminis at Buick dealers.

I had a car just like that when I was in high school back in 1979. sdcarnut I remember the gas needle dropping as you drove along. The hood of this car is longer than my current vehicle!(Honda Fit)
