2007 Saturn Outlook

Last Updated:

Just a teaser from Saturn.
It seems OK. Just another SUV. I am sure it’ll be pretty good.
But GM has pretty much all but destroyed the brand’s image, so I don’t see such a bright future for the Outlook against the new Highlander, or Santa Fe.

Look at what happened to their minivan….

  1. I bet this picture will be on Leftlane News tomorrow. And once again, they won’t give Vince any credit for breaking the news first like he always has. Look at LLN today–they just posted the Jeep Patriot and Scion Fuse, when Vince already had the two a couple days before. And Vince also broke the Saturn Aura long before they did. Good work.

  2. I have one comment! Why does every one now copies the pentagon grill shape of Acura? I personally never like it. I used to tell my friends that I think Acura Should made it bigger and more pronounced like Audi does with theirs. The one they had on the black TL concept was awesome and aggressive looking.

  3. i wouldn’t call it an SUV. it’s a huge crossover, the size of the Enclave/Acadia.

it’s big, with three rows, of seating and better gas mileage, it should draw on minivans and suv lovers alike.

  4. I have to say, I am very impress with that Vince guy. Every time I log onto this site there is always something exciting to see. This is the first auto site that I ever posted comments on a regular basis.

    Keep it going Vince!
    BlkBMW5s.

  5. You’re full of crap. This picture was on other websites before vince put it on his shitty site. He doesn’t deserve any credit. He just takes stuff from other websites. Get a real job.

  6. This photo first appeared on gminsidenews.com, so Vince doesn’t deserve any credit. And how could you dismiss the Outlook based on a closeup shot of one corner of the front end, claiming it can’t compete with the Highlander and Sante Fe? Have you by some chance driven the Outlook already, or actually seen it? Your version of unbiased and objective automotive reporting stinks like Consumer Distorts.

  7. this may just be another suv, and not that i like saturns, but ive seen alot more boring pics of suvs than this grill pic, like the acura minivan the mdx, that ugly rdx, all “just” suvs but you are so excited about them…but anyway just wanted to say judging by the way the buick enclave looks this may turn out to be well put together and nice looking

  8. to the person saying why is everyone copying the acura grill. yeah right, mazda did that grill before the tl, or tsx. the question should be why does acura a quasi-luxury brand have to copy a mainstream brand…its kinda funny

  9. I don’t think Saturn is nearly as damaged as you might think Vince. They still have a good reputation for customer service and the Relay is really the 1st POS to come with a Saturn badge…

I’ll withhold final judgement until I actually get to drive an Outlook/Enclave/Acadia, but for now I’m really liking what I’ve seen. Especially in the Enclave 🙂

  10. Who ever claimed that Mazda was the first one to use that grill, I would like to know if you can tell me how far back they use it and I will tell you when Acura started using it. Remember the grill was always a pentagon, except Acura never made it so edgy. And by the way I did not know if that picture was posted before. And I do have a very good job thank you. Most people only wish they had, I thank God for that every day.

  11. Umm…he freakin’ said: “Just a teaser from Saturn.” Meaning that he GOT IT FROM THE TEASER you morons.

    I agree.

The uninformed need to, excuse my vulgarity, but they need to crawl out from under their rock, and realize that the world actually extends BEYOND the US. Just because you saw a Mazda first in the US with certain styling cues, doesn’t mean Mazda was first to do it period.

If you look at the entire world, and all models from around the globe, then you will see that it was Mazda that copied both Toyota and Honda design cues.

  13. in this pic it looks like the rear hatch is used as the bumper, vince always stated they wont bring over the civic 5 door cause of this, and looks like it could do more damage costwise than a rav4 tire mounted rear bumper or crv..
