2006 New Beetle! (sort of…)

This is officially called the “New Beetle Ragster “. Based on a New Beetle convertible.
What is not “concept” is the all new front and rear ends that will be introduced on all new Beetles for 2006.
Even the fenders have also been redesigned for a slightly more squared off look.
For the US, the standard engine will be the new 2.5 Liter engine. Not related to the European V5.
It looks like the interior has not been too modified, unless they actually produce that crazy looking steering wheel.
Just some chrome rings, and a redesigned console.
The 2006 New Beetle should be on sale in the Summer.
